This week we're opening up public playtest signups for KOOO TO JUMP!, and we'd love to have you in the coop.
The game is entering its most critical development phase, and while we already have a dedicated group of closed playtesters putting it through its paces, we want to hear from a wider community before we lock things down.
What we're looking for from playtesters
We're not just looking for bug reports (though those are welcome too). Here's what would really help us:
Difficulty curve β Where did you rage-quit? Where did you feel unstoppable? Is the gap between the start and the checkpoint fair, or are we being cruel?
Voice control feel β Does the 5-level sustained "KOOOOO" charge feel intuitive? Does your throat survive? Are the jump strength thresholds responsive enough?
Gamepad vs. Voice balance β If you've tried both, do they feel equally viable? Anything one mode does better than the other?
Camera zones β Any transitions between the 60 cam zones that feel disorienting or unfair?
The "one checkpoint" decision β Sadistic genius or just sadistic? We genuinely want to know.
Audio detection quirks β Background noise, accents, mic sensitivity β tell us what breaks.
How to join
Jump into our Discord server and head to the playtest channel. That's where signups, builds, and feedback discussions are all happening.
Your honest feedback at this stage shapes the final game. Don't hold back β we'd rather hear it now than read it in a review later. π€
